Dr. Betty Addero has over 20 years of senior leadership in both private and public sectors. She has a proven track record of leading diverse international executive teams in the West, Eastern and Central African regions with a high degree of success in brand building and revenue growth.
She has worked with multinationals, notably Samsung in Kenya and Microsoft in the West, East, Central Africa & Indian Ocean Islands (WECA) region.She has sat on six successful boards and is currently the Director in two of them. This has further sharpened her strengths in entrepreneurial thinking, strategic leadership, board advisory, building high level partnerships and visionary direction.
She holds a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development from the University of Cape Town and is a part-time faculty at the Strathmore School of Business for MBA students. She is a frequent keynote speaker and panelist in varying local and international fora in the fields of Tourism, Economic and Business scaling initiatives, Governance and Personal Management as well as in academia at Strathmore Business School Industry forums and other marketing industrial platforms where she lends industry expertise to academia.
